The Owners Corporation is made up of all the lot owners of the strata scheme collectively. The owners corporation look after the Strata Plan. The Owners Corporation becomes an entity when the Strata Plan is registered with the Land and Property Management Authority of NSW.
The Strata Plan is the plan registered at The Land and Property Management Authority showing the building with the lots and common property divisions. The Owners Corporation forms at the registering of this plan.
The Executive Committee are the elected representatives, a least 1 and no more than 9, of The Owners Corporation. They are elected at each Annual General Meeting. They adhere to both The Strata Schemes Management Act 1996 along with any other laws imposed by The Owners Corporation, (by-laws).

There are 3 main offices within the executive committee, the chairperson, the secretary and the treasurer.
In The Élan the executive committee meet each 8 weeks in the meeting room. The issues discussed are placed on the notice board in the level ground foyer.
